Prior to signing up with Ivory Tower Cards i had done a fair amount of research into franchising and had been to the main Franchise Exhibition in Birmingham. It was amazing to see the money some of these organisations were asking for with a lease on premises and staff wages being additional concerns.
By opting to join the greeting cards industry with Ivory Tower Cards the worries of staff and premises were removed. As they found my initial sites an i was earning money from the outset i could focus on growth without eating into working capital. By working hard on calling on potential sites my business has doubled in size in the last year to around 240 outlets. I hope to increase this to about 300 by the end of the year.
Success in any business veture is far from guaranteed. I personally feel the support of my franchise was crucial to my growth and development. As a Franchisee you are never on your own and any individual contemplating a career in the highly competetive greetings card industry should seriously consider the Ivory Tower Cards package.
